Knowledge inspires action and all roads lead to Dillon, Montana, September 7-9, 2023 for the third national-international conference The Trail Forward in Horsemanship Education, merging traditional, natural horsemanship with 21st century new equine and horse-human education, research and innovation in ranching, agriculture, science and the horse-human partnership. Come to this breathtaking setting in the heart of the Blacktail Mountains; meet the experts on the frontlines of ground breaking initiatives to foster and promote the present and future of the equine arena --- perpetuating a defining tradition of the American west; a way of life and the unique relationship between horse and human.
The Trail Forward brings together leading voices and experts in equine and animal behavior, natural horsemanship, ranching, outfitting, and equine and human initiatives that advance well-being, along with horse-and-rider demonstrations, hands-on experiences with horses, and compelling storytellers, award-winning equine films and the latest research and science in these and related fields.
The Trail Forward will bring a balanced and insightful look at, and appreciation for all things horse and the powerful and life-changing impact of the horse-human relationship.
The Montana Center for Horsemanship, is official host for this 3-day conference, in collaboration with University of Montana Westsern. MCH is a not-for-profit organization and the only education center in the nation devoted exclusively to Natural Horsemanship. With UM Western, we are pleased to present this public, international conference.
